Calling self-starters who love all things digital!

Insider Trends helps large retailers innovate and create world-leading, profitable retail ecosystems. We’ve helped Marks & Spencer, Galeries Lafayette, Chanel, EE, Unilever, L’Oreal and Lego understand what’s coming next in retail and how they can boost profits. We pride ourselves on providing exciting yet easy-to-understand insight and inspiration.

We’re now looking for someone to take our digital media activities to the next level.

You’ll be responsible for the digital media plans across all content areas, including our website, social media channels, email marketing and our blog. You will define the approach, help implement it and monitor and review metrics. You’ll run experiments, see what’s working, find out what isn’t, and make changes to continually improve performance.

We have a writer, web developer and graphic designer – as such, your role is about requesting and coordinating the right things from these people. You are likely respond to some comments on social media and create the occasional graphic, but most of our writing and assets will be created by others. You’ll identify the right topics for our writer to write about, and turn these into a monthly publication schedule, to be supported by social media and emails.

We are a small, fast growing team – we’re ideally looking for someone who’s hungry to grow their skills, experience, responsibility and earnings with us.

This is a self-employed position – you’ll have a lot of control over your hours and place of work. You’re welcome to work from any place in the world with a reliable internet connection.

We will need you to roughly keep to a schedule that you define, checking in at least 2 days a week during UK office hours.

As it is a self-employed position, you will be responsible for paying your own tax and National Insurance, as well as saving money to cover times when you are sick or on holiday. If applicable, you will need a Visa that allows you to be self-employed. You’ll need to supply your own fast, wifi-enabled laptop.

We hope to hear from people from every walk of life – including people looking to change careers, people looking to get back into work, graduates and more.
