The Best New Retail in London – July 2025

A new selection of stores has arrived in London this month promising to inspire with their designs and events.

Retailers are taking part in collaborations with brands and others to expand their range of offerings to customers, from famous bands to smaller local businesses. Many are also demonstrating their own taste by curating collections of art to appeal to shoppers visiting their spaces.

Sports brands have also been attracted to the city, recognising the continuing interest in running from Londoners.

Finally, a quirky store design demonstrates that pop-ups allow brands to have fun and test new ideas before rolling them out to other sites.

Represent, Soho

Luxury streetwear brand Represent has launched its new flagship in London’s Wardour Street.

The design of the store is sleek cream and black with a traditional chequered floor in the cafe, contrasting with the modern feel.

Customers can find a number of the brand’s collections, including the popular 247 by Represent, the main collection and womenswear. The brand has also partnered with a number of bands (Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden and Oasis) to create bespoke collections. Other items that shoppers can find include limited edition t-shirts and hoodies celebrating the London store.

For those needing to recharge and relax, they can visit the new Owners Club Cafe for a range of coffees including cold-brews and protein lattes, Plot Roasting coffees, and Rinkoffs Bakery pastries.

Style of Our Own, Regent Street

A new arrival in Regent Street this month was a recipient of the Meanwhile On project run by Westminster City Council.

Style of Our Own, supported by Mastercard, is a pop-up featuring sports products aimed at women. The store will contain over 20 brands, largely run by women, who design women’s sports goods, including clothing.

The brands chosen have previously only been available online, and now customers will get the opportunity to view the collections in person and also test sports equipment on the in-store pitch.

Community activities will be available including talks on topics like hormones and high performance in sports, fitness classes and workshops, and events such as Women’s Euros watch parties.

Uber Eats pop-up, Potters Field

Food delivery brand Uber Eats opened a unique pop-up in London this month.

Forming part of the When You’ve Done Enough campaign, the brand’s latest activation focused on British lunch staple, the meal deal.

The space was designed to resemble a giant green Uber Eats delivery bag, and was open for one day only. Visitors to the store were able to choose from a range of luxury versions of classic meal deal products, for only £3 (£2 for Uber One members).

The meal deals were created by gourmet chefs Will Murray and Jack Croft, with The VLT, Coronation Lobster, Cheese & Honion and Rotisserie Chicken & Ssamjana on offer for shoppers. Charity City Harvest were the beneficiaries of the proceeds raised from the pop-up.

Stephen Webster, Mayfair

Jewellery designer Stephen Webster has launched his latest flagship in Burlington Arcade.

The new space was the creation of Guy Hollaway Studio and includes elements created by hand, such as display cabinets and models of jewellery designs. This has been combined with a selection of curated art from British luminaries like Damien Hurst and Tracey Emin, and Webster’s own collection.

The entire Burlington Arcade also features an installation created by the designer, including a carpet showcasing his jewellery designs over the years that spans the entire arcade, along with colourful, light reflecting sculptures hanging from the ceiling.

Customers can find the main jewellery collection on the ground floor, and a speakeasy bar called No Regrets on a lower level, where they can drink martinis and explore the Stephen Webster homeware collection.

Vince, Marylebone

Bringing some Californian style to Marylebone this month is American luxury fashion brand Vince.

The design of the store combines London’s culture with the brand’s signature LA feel, with skylights, wooden floors and artwork from both cities. The brand curated items from UK antique stores such as Studio 125 and The Peanut Vendor, and also had new items created by Studio Vraco.

Customers will be able to find the womenswear collection on the ground floor, while the entire lower floor contains menswear, Vince’s biggest selection across its stores.
